World History Unit 6 Weeks

"How to Build a Civilization"
Introduction
Welcome back and I hope that everyone had a great holiday break and has come back ready to go to work. This week we will explore what we have learned about civilizations and why knowing how civilizations are formed is important. Why do we settle were we have? What attracts us to certain lands and other lands are left alone or barely settled? During this week students will be set up into groups of 4 and these groups will develop their own civilization based on a rubric I will provide on 07 Jan 2014.
Objectives

discussed in class that explains how
mankind came to be
-- Create at least 3 traditions that your

civilization has
-- Create and describe what religion your
