Homework Guidelines

All written homework assigned will be completed in google documents as discussed in the classroom during our orientation week.  Students can find a step by step procedures guide on this website

Assignments must be shared in google documents with me so I can make comments, record your grade and return it to you via emai.

Homework assignments will include your name, the date and your class period in the upper right hand side of the document.  All google documents will be titled.  This is done by clicking on the Untitled Document tab in the upper left hand side of the document and giving your paper a title.

Students will write their assignments in complete sentences using paragraph format.  Assignments will be returned to the students if they fail to use basic grammar skills such as capitalization and use of periods, question marks etc.

Students who turn in any assignment not following these instructions will have assignments returned to the student to correct and resubmit.

Homework is an important part of school and the learning process and is assigned to help increase a students understanding of the material we are covering and are normally short and easily completed.  There is no excuse for not completing homework.  Students are expected to check the website at least 3 times a week to make sure they have completed all the assignments.  I will mention the homework in class but it is YOUR responsibility to check the website for specific instructions and DO IT.

Students who turn in assignments late will receive a penalty for each day it is late.  The penalties are listed below:

                                    1 day late   =  10% penalty
                                    2. days late = 20% penalty
                                    3  days late = 30% penalty

Remember your education is your responsibility.  Do not expect to succeed if you do not put in the effort.
