Welcome to Unit 3 Terrain Types/Shaping the Earth
Forces both on the surface and below it help to shape our earth. They do this by wearing down current land shapes and forming new ones. Some of the elements of change we will talk about will be volcanism, weathering, erosion, earth quakes, plate tectonics, volcanoes and many other forces. We will begin our journey by learning about the history of how the Earth formed, the different land forms that are produced by volcanoes, glacier and wind erosion, water/river erosion and finally weathering and deposition. All of these processes help develop and create the land we live on.
