Modern humans may have originated more than 100,000 years ago in Africa before spreading to other parts of the world. This migration most likely took place over many thousands of years.
We will study about early civilizations this nine weeks beginning with the cro-magnum man, troglodytes, neanderthal man, homo erectus and final homo sapiens.
From the early days of mankind as a hunter-gather to the first settlements of the Fertile Crescent Reach area mankind slowly went from being a nomad to a culture human being.
During this nine weeks we will discuss important topics such as Creationism vs. Evolutionist, the ancient kingdoms of Mesopotamia, Persia, Phoenicians, the Mediterranean civilizations, Egypt, the Israelite's and we will discuss great men of history such as Hammurabi Moses, David, Abraham and others. We will also discuss the many great events such as the building of the Pyramids, the first monotheistic religion (Judaism), Hammurabi's Code, the Great Diaspora that saw Moses lead the Israelites out of bondage and the creation of the 10 commandments.
