This is a copy of the layers of the Earth handout I gave students on Tuesday of this week to label and describe.
The first two film discuss the layers of the Earth (crust, mantel, outer and inner core).
These next two videos engage the students in the different layers of the atmosphere that protect the Earth. Students should focus only on the information regarding the Troposphere.
This short film is a good summary of how Pangaea and the Theory of Continental Drift together with the Theory of Plate Tectonics help move the larger land masses such as the Earth's plates which rest on the layer of the Earth called the mantel.
